I am no longer in high school and has - as a result - often too much time to spend in the morning. I needed someone to accompany me at the table and this little fella' was born.

I saw a cute picture the night before on tumblr and decided to give it a try. Since I already knew the basics of omurice, I figured what ingredients to use and how. It took me approximately half an hour to make. There's not much to it really - the blanket is of course an omelette, the rice has been cooked and some of it (the red parts) fried with a bit of ketchup. The black spots are seaweed and the nose, ears etc. are made from cheese. I formed the rice by hand, but if you want to make it a little easier, you can use plastic wrap to make the shapes.
